Dr. Peter S. Young is a distinguished dentist, and we are honored to have him as part of our team. He holds the prestigious title of Board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry, a distinction held by less than 100 dentists worldwide. This recognition from one of the oldest dental aesthetic organizations in the world highlights Dr. Young’s expertise in providing cosmetic and esthetic dental care. His passion for delivering exceptional results shines through in every treatment he provides.
Additionally, Dr. Young has achieved the designation of MAGD, a “Master” from the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction held by less than 2% of dentists in America. To attain this level, Dr. Young completed the “Fellowship” level and dedicated a total of 1100 hours to continuing education, with 400 hours focused on hands-on workshops across 16 different dental disciplines. His commitment to ongoing learning showcases his dedication to providing optimal patient care. He has attended numerous hours of training at esteemed institutions, including the Loma Linda University Implant Continuum, Kois Center, Piko Institute in Florida, Las Vegas Institutes, Spears Education, Interdisciplinary Dental Education Academy (IDEA), gIDE Dental Implant Center, and annual conventions of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Society of Dental Aesthetics, American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and California Dental Association. In fact, he has accumulated approximately 4500 hours of advanced dental continuing education since 1988.
Dr. Young’s accomplishments extend beyond his mastery in dental aesthetics and general dentistry. He is a Fellow of the International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics and an Accredited Member of the American Society of Dental Aesthetics. These prestigious titles recognize Dr. Young as a leader and an exemplary professional who emphasizes the importance of continuous learning for delivering exceptional patient care.
Dr. Peter S. Young earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Pacific Union College in Angwin, California. In 1988, he received his Doctoral degree in Dental Surgery with Honors from Loma Linda University. Dr. Young’s expertise is further demonstrated by his Associate Fellow status at the World Clinical Laser Institute, completed training with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and memberships in esteemed organizations, including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Total Patient Service Institute (TOPS), San Gabriel Valley Dental Society, and American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation.
Dr. Young’s dedication to advancing dentistry goes beyond his own practice. Since 1998, he has been an Assistant Professor at the Division of General Dentistry School of Dentistry in Loma Linda University, where he lectures on esthetic dentistry and practice management. He is also a graduate, mentor, clinical instructor, and product adviser at the Kois Center in Seattle, one of the world’s well-known teaching centers. Sharing his knowledge and educating others is a true passion for Dr. Young.

Dr. Young is active both locally and globally in his profession.
Dr. Young served as Secretary and Ethics Chair for the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society and was a member of their Board from 2004 to 2007. He has been a member of the Society since 1996.
Since 1997, Dr. Young has been an active member in the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors since 1998 to 2016. Proudly, in 2002 to 2003, he was elected President of the Chamber.
Dr. Young has also been in many countries on humanitarian missions. Countries such as China, Malaysia, Peru, the Dominican Republic, and Kenya. These trips only confirm his passion for giving back. Annually he also inspires and leads his office to reach out the underprivileged in Indio Cocheal Valley, California with CARE.
