Invisible Braces using Invisalign, the newest wireless technology
Dr. Young is certified by Invisalign since 2002. This treatment is ideal for both teenagers and adults that want to have straight teeth but never wanted the wire braces. If you’re in the public eye where appearance is important, you’ll love this method. No one will know that you are having orthodontic treatment! The length of treatment is about the same as conventional orthodontics, sometimes even less.
We begin by making impressions of your teeth. We do not use the traditional cement method that can gag patients. The impressions are scanned into a computer that generates virtual models of your teeth. We’ll receive, via email, virtual models of the finished positions of your teeth. We’ll review the results with you--this is a great time to see what your teeth will look like once your treatment is completed. Upon your approval, multiple trays are made by the Invisalign Lab.
New trays are normally given out on each visit. You’ll change your trays every two to three weeks. Each separate tray will move teeth by one-quarter of a millimeter. Trays are worn all the time except for cleaning and eating.

Early assessment and treatment of crowded teeth, deep overbites and other misalignment of teeth is important to reduce the length of treatment, expense and final results. Often, in children, treatment is performed in phases.
